For Sailing, Kitesurfing and Diving, Participant should feel comfortable on water, not required to be a good swimmer - All Participants will be provided with buoyancy aids.

For Sailing Taster, participants are not required to be able to swim

For Sailing:

Classes are set early on time but subject to change due to weather conditions.

For kitesurfing:

The dates differ depending on the weather conditions and forecast, Kitesurfing is a sport that needs a good amount of wind, not every day is suitable for kitesurfing. An initial date will be sent to you 4 days prior to get your confirmation!

At Sunset Beach:

Note: The beach is in a semi-remote area where there are no facilities, please prepare accordingly.

Yes, All sailing training is conducted under lifeguards supervision who are equipped with safety vessel (jet sky or boat)

Yes, Buoyancy Aids and helmets will be provided to participants.

Yes, Course completion certificate and membership of the Saudi Sailing Federation will be given to the participants.

Yes, Sunset Beach Resort entry fees are included in the course for the trainee for all training days.

Entry Fees for one accompanying parent is also included in the course fees for participants age 15 and below.

Want to bring a friend, There is additional 100 SAR entry fees for additional person , except Fridays (200SR) .

Cancellation: 

If your cruise / course is canceled due to a “force majeure” situation such as bad weather or coast guard permit, it will be rescheduled and your deposit / payment will be valid for the new dates. 

Reschedule: 

Because these type of classes require  coordination with the resort,  coast guard, lifeguard and preparing equipment, we ask 2 days advance notice  in order to be able to accommodate your request.
